There are 4 shifts in a day; however, the timings vary depending on the season-  

  • March to September

Visit time: 6am to 7:30am; Permits Issued: 5:30am to 6:30am. Visit time: 8:30am to 7:30am; Permits Issued: 6:30am to 7:30am. Visit time: 2pm to 3:30pm; Permits Issued: 1pm to 2pm. Visit time: 4:30pm to 6pm; Permits Issued: 2pm to 3pm.  

  • October to February

Visit time: 6:30 am to 8 am; Permits Issued: 6 am to 7 am. Visit time: 9 am to 10:30 am; Permits Issued: 7 am to 8 am. Visit time: 1pm to 2:30pm; Permits Issued: 12noon to 1pm. Visit time: 3:30pm to 5pm; Permits Issued: 1pm to 2pm. Note: Gorumara National Park remains closed from 16th June - 15th September every year. This is the animal breeding season. Naturally, safaris remain closed every Thursday.
